Bishop and Pawn Endgames

Bishop and pawn endgames combine the principles of pawn endgames with the unique properties of the bishop. The bishop's color matters enormously: pawns should be on the opposite color to your bishop, and the wrong-colored bishop with a rook pawn is a notorious draw.
