Damiano's Mate

Damiano's Mate is a checkmate pattern featuring a queen and pawn working together on the h-file (or g-file). The queen delivers check on h7, supported by a pawn, and the enemy king is trapped. Named after the Portuguese master Pedro Damiano from the 16th century.
