Good Bishop vs Bad Bishop

A 'good' bishop has its pawns on the OPPOSITE color, giving it open diagonals and active play. A 'bad' bishop has its pawns on the SAME color, blocking its diagonals and making it passive. Recognizing the difference and knowing how to exploit or fix it is a key endgame skill.
