Max Lange's Mate

Max Lange's Mate is named after the 19th-century German master Max Lange. The queen delivers checkmate on h7 (or g7) with support from a bishop on the b1-h7 diagonal or a rook on the h-file. It is the natural conclusion of a kingside attacking buildup.
