The Seventh Rank Invasion

Tarrasch called a rook on the seventh rank 'a pig on the seventh' because it devours everything. A rook on the seventh attacks pawns from behind (where they are weakest) and confines the enemy king to the back rank. Two rooks on the seventh are often game-ending.
